Blog, blog, blog, blogggggggg

Jeeze, this blogging thing is tough. I don't know how often I am supposed to update it in order to keep all you demanding people happy! So here is just a bit of what is going on right now...

I am home for my very short Christmas break. Christmas has so very quickly come and gone. It's always sad when it's all over, the festiveness, the people going back to the hustle-bustle of "normal" life (living without happiness, or a soul) and the end of CHRISTMAS MUSIC! It all just gets put away along with all the decorations, lights and candles... It's really too bad. With all that said, I had a wonderful time. It's great being home, with my family and friends. I do miss Hayley and the apartment though and it will be nice to see her when she arrives on the 30th! I'll be waiting with Ollie and we'll both want big hugs and kisses!!

Hah, anyway, Ollie has been a good boy. He is getting bigger and bigger every day. His coat is getting darker, which I think is just his "winter coat" thickening and growing in a bit. But he is doing awesome. For Christmas, he got a rubber tire and he loves it! It's something that he can't just shred apart, since its really tough. Going along the lines of chewing, Ollie really likes to chew-comb everyone's hair. It's such an odd thing. If you have hair exposed and he is in the right playful mindset, he'll try and kind of chew your hair! Other than him being an awesome dog there is really not much else happening with him. I've taught him "spin", which he really likes doing (its a change from sit and down, which are boring, obviously).

In other non-Ollie news, I got some really great-sounding studio monitors and have spend my free time in the past two days (all day, each day) listening to different things on them. They're unbelievable and I really really like them. My brother got some drums for Christmas, which should prove to be an interesting spectacle here at our CONDO! Perhaps it will be fine.. He is doing so well with his drumming, getting better every time I hear him play.

Okay, I'm done for now! Ollie is sleeping on his, newly-washed, kennel blankets and I am tired. I hope everyone who reads this had a great Christmas and surrounding days!!!

Ollie fast asleep at the Theberge Christmas Eve party.

The Theberge Christmas Eve party.

I saw these sinks and thought of Hayley, since she insists on having double sinks... UGH!

Oh, and this is just a picture I like of myself and my sister, Beky.

Now, thats it. Goodnight.

The Ollie says "Bark, bark!!"

Well, it's been just over a week since I've last posted so I threw together a video of the Ollster. He's getting really big and crazy. With all that craziness I'd expect a bit of naughtiness, however Ollie has been wonderful. He rarely has accidents in the house and has learned (to my strong approval) to sit at the door when he needs to go outside. I can't believe how smart he is. It's wonderful to have a pup who isn't awful, since I've heard some terror stories. With that said, he is only 10 weeks old (last sunday) so he still has plenty of time to be a pain. For now, he's just using his time to be cute and smart. He knows when he's done something wrong and tries to test Hayley and me, its actually very funny sometimes. It's hard to get mad at such a cute little bugger.

Olivia came to visit with us today and brought (very thoughtfully, THANK YOU) a new toy for Ollie, of which he absolutely loves. It has a squeaker in it and today while he was chewing away on that squeaker he started to whimper, as if he was trying to mimic the squeak sound. He is cute. Well, I'm sure thats enough writing for now, even though there are endless things to talk about regarding him. Go watch the new video!!!

Highly anticipated video and pictures!

This video is a glob of clips thrown together to make something that shows a bit of what Ollie (and we) have been up to.

Now for some pictures!

Me and Ollie on the first day!!

Ollie loved Hay the first time he saw her!

Another good one!

Finally we're home and Ollie is getting used to the new place!

Looking stoic!

Here's Ollie getting comfy on the bed.

Those big blue eyes, so beautiful.

They DO NOT get along... yet.. muahahaha!

I was trying to be a dog.. something fierce, obviously.

He looks so silly and goofy, and much like those morphed animal calendars.

I think Ollie is just as confused as you all (any I) might be... I don't know where that face came from.

In action!!!

Hahahahaha, tongue.

Pouncing!

The battle begins! Lets go for a walk Ollie.

Give me that toy!

This is basically a daily thing!

We kiss and make.... OUT! (just kidding, its really "up")

Outside in the snow storm!

He's such a good boy!!!

Sleepy eyes.

Hayley always snuggles with Ollie now...

However, I always eat his paws?

After uploading all of those I realized that Hayley is not part of enough of them. Probably because I hold a camera like a caveman holds his club... In other words, I swing the camera around and hit things over the head with it.. Hay takes all the pictures. Okay, enough for now. Enjoy and hopefully there will be more to come soon!

Ollie... He's like a child that always tries to lick your floors.

It's been five days since we got Ollie, and he is completely insane! It's been tough, waking up at 6:30am every morning, but it is well worth it. He is so good in his kennel, hasn't had an accident in it yet. Last night he managed to not make a noise! Normally he'll bark and yelp randomly throughout the night, so last night was good. We take him outside just about every hour or so for him to pee and poo (of which he is doing really well with)! He's only had a few accidents inside, but no poop. He loves his "mr. green" toy and eating peanut butter out of his Kong!

My time has been spent chasing him around the apartment, making sure he doesn't pick up every single little thing he sees on the floor, and try to eat it. I've been working hard to make sure he doesn't always want to kill Chloe (Andy and Val's cat). I've had so much fun with him, he loves sleeping on me and Hayley and chewing our faces, but I wouldn't change a thing.

I don't know how other puppies function, or how they act, but I think I've been lucky with Ollie. Hayley and I have been training him to come, sit, down (lay down) and shake! He is doing so well with it all. Out on walks, he has already learned to sit at the edge of the road before we cross it.

On the way back in from our walks, he seems to either be afraid or just, I don't know... RETARDED, but he wont climb the stairs half the time. There are only three and they're small. Sometimes he sprints right up them and other times he refuses to even come near them. He'll run right up to the bottom step, and stop FAST! Then just look up at me all goofy and wait for me to pick him up and carry him to the door.

All in all he is just a big pile of goober and he is a lot of fun, plus a lot of work. I love him and I am excited to see him develop and grow with me and Hayley.

Also!!!! I don't have any videos/pictures right now, however! I will have some later today in a new post. I've been very busy with classes, finals and the pup, so I will try and find some time to do it later today!
